The location is great, just 10 minutes by foot from Princess street and Edinburgh castle. There is plenty of restaurants around the hotel and a small Tesco just next to it. Staff were beyond kind and helpful. Breakfast had plenty of options, even gluten free. Our twin room was spacious and had all the necessery amenities to make our stay comfortable. Would definetly stay again.

Stayed here for the first time on a work trip. The location is excellent—about a 15-minute walk to the city centre, which makes it easy to get around without relying on transport. The hotel has a fun, trendy vibe to it: modern, funky, and full of personality. The rooms are compact but cosy, with a comfortable bed and everything you need. Clean, tidy, and well thought-out for a short stay. The bathroom, however, is very small—definitely not the place to swing a cat but it’s functional and clean. Downstairs, the social area is lively and inviting. Plenty of seating, games to keep you entertained, and lots of space to relax—perfect for unwinding with a drink and maybe even a daring bite of haggis. Overall, a great hotel in my opinion: stylish, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring Edinburgh.

I went up to Edinburgh from London for a night. The hotel is perfect for somewhere affordable and cozy to retreat to. It was about a 25 minute walk with luggage from the train station and about 7 pounds to Uber. The rooms are small but comfortable, the bar is lively (but not loud) at around midnight on a Saturday night and the hotel staff are very welcoming. If you don't care about being right in the old town and can manage the walk (or pay the Ubers), this is a lovely stay.

The location was perfect for us as it was only a 15-20 minute walk to princes street with different shops and places to eat on the way. The staff are absolutely phenomenal with our receptionist helping us get our chrome caste up and running when we couldn't figure it out. The rooms weren't the biggest but it had everything you needed. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were amazing. The bathroom was basic but very functional.

Stayed there for a weekend. Seemless check in with ovely front desk staff. The hotel itself has a cool atmosphere to it, with modern vibes and nice surroundings. The rooms and mid sized but are clean and fresh, had the towels changed for us in the day we stayed. No fridge, but they leave a glass of water for you 10-12 minutes to town, and close to tram station as well. Would recommend and stay there again.

The hotel is amazing for 2-3 nights The rooms are clean and cosy, the location is perfect (15-minute walk to the city centre), no noise at all. The downside is there’s no storage space and the breakfast area gets a little too crowded, but the food is fresh and nice. I love this place, stayed there several times

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything was truly great! The rooms were comfortable, clean, and very pleasant. The breakfast was perfect, with a wide variety of options — there was something for everyone. The hotel is also very well located, close to the city center: easy to reach on foot and very well served by bus, which is a real advantage. A special mention goes to the staff, who were absolutely wonderful. We experienced a small issue with nighttime noise at the beginning of our stay, and they immediately offered us a solution. We truly felt that they were there to help and that our comfort was their priority. A big thank you to the entire team for their professionalism and kindness. We will definitely return on our next visit!
